Reporting Relationship : Reportin g JV's General Manager, Vice President

Education : A Master degree or above. Mandatory fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities:

•  S/He will be supported by an existing accounting team, and have total responsibility for the management of the accounting and finance for the JV.

•  The Finance Manager will also be involved in a broad range of general business issues as the representative US interests.

•  Duties will include implementing, developing, fine-tuning and maintaining accounting and finance policies and procedures, statutory accounting, tax reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, performance management, compliance, finance, accounting, and cash management for the China legal entity.

•  S/He will keep a full set of local books, and work closely with the US headquarters. The individual must also ensure overall financial reporting is completed in a timely and efficient manner and that management has complete confidence in the financial information reported.

•  The Finance Manager will be required to provide leadership and supervision for the finance team, and take an active role in developing his/her team.



Qualifications :

•  He/She will have at least 4-6 years' accounting/finance experience of which 2-3 years will be in a management capacity working for a multinational manufacturing company.

•  The candidate must be capable and willing to work at higher-level financial functions as well as on day-to-day operational issues.

•  It will be important the individual has worked in a computerized accounting environment, and be familiar with implementing such systems.

•  Good managerial skills, and an organized, process approach are also important.

•  S/He will have experience operating within budgets, improving overall performance / efficiencies, and working closely with the business to improve performance.

•  The candidate must be extremely familiar with local statutory, tax and compliance regulations, and have managed these issues in a prior role.

•  The incumbent must be a hands-on, open-minded and goals oriented individual committed to teamwork.

•  S/He must have a bit on an entrepreneurial flair, and have an aggressive approach to problem solving.

•  The position holder should have personal strength of character to be firm and take independent and professional stands on matters.

•  High levels of loyalty and integrity are also mandatory.

•  This individual will play a very important compliance role.

•  The Finance Manager will be required to represent the best interests of US partner in the JV.

•  S/He must have the capability to push back, and keep US headquarter informed of all important issues or irregularities.

•  The Finance Manager will have good interpersonal and communication skills, and a western mindset.

•  It is essential the candidate be able to identify issues, seek counsel and work to resolve problems.

•  The individual should have a minimum of a university degree in accounting and/or finance, and preferably a CPA qualification.

•  Fluent English and Mandarin (written and spoken) are essential.

•  It is expected that the candidate will be a PRC National in their late 20s to early 30s.

•  Some flexibility on title may be required, as a slightly more qualified candidate may need to be offered a more senior title, such as Senior Finance Manager.
