Reporting Relationship :
Responsibilities :
Manage and coordinate all new projects and Requests for quotation from the customers according to the policies and procedures of the company
By the use of the design function and engineering resources assist the domestic and Asia sales to develop the needed product portfolio to meet the company's sales goals
Assist sales with technical support
Develop current sourcing channels and coordinate future sourcing set-up's to make sure the company meet the demand for qualified suppliers/partners in the future
Manage the project functions employees to meet the value and principles of the company
Assign project engineers according to the priorities and importance of the projects
Calculate and make proposals on make or buy decisions on all major projects coming into the company
Control and report progress, cost and other project management information to the involved parties
Implement necessary systems, tools and measurements to help the project management to meet the requirements for best quality and the high need for speed in introducing new products to both the internal production and the external production at the suppliers
Qualifications :
The Engineering/Project Manager, China should have an Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical or Material science.
He/she should have very good English skill and understanding of western/American business culture and expectations.
