Reporting Relationship : General Manager
Responsibilities :
Working closely with the leadership to maximize revenues, bookings and customer satisfaction;
Identifying, developing and achieving customer relationships;
Setting product portfolios, new technology introduction, pricing and positioning with market trends in mind in order to differentiate own products;
Forecasting the dynamics of the market and communicating effectively what this means for the businesses in order to anticipate, understanding and reacting to the market and customers needs;
Attaining forecasted demand, revenues and customer satisfaction goals;
Supporting, developing and implementing account and program capture strategies;
Integrating marketing programs and processes within the China region;
Managing customer interfaces with country and functional leadership, as well as build relationships with leaderships and carry internal influence;
Furnishing competitive and customer intelligence to the commercial leadership;
Being an advocate for the customer's position within the overall framework of business and fiscal guidelines;
Developing, driving and implementing strategic and tactical marketing plans in the region;
Identifying new business opportunities;
Qualifications :
Hold a minimum of a BA/BS degree;
Have 5+ years of related experience preferably in the automotive industry in China ;
Have experience in supply chain, engineering or projects, preferably in the automotive sector;
Be able to work well with the team and influence without direct line authority to pull team towards goals;
Understand basic automotive products and how customers use them;
Have solid project management and follow through skills;
Have proven analytical and problem solving abilities;
Preferably have sales or supply chain experience;
Have strong written and spoken English and Mandarin skills.
It will also be important that the individual have a personality suited to the business and be able to understand and integrate with the company culture.
The individual must be fast paced, aggressive, direct, to the point and have their own opinions. High levels of loyalty and integrity are also mandatory.
The incumbent must also be a hands-on, open-minded and goals oriented individual committed to teamwork.
