Responsibilities :

•  The CSO /CTO will be responsible for defining the vision and action plan to successfully enhance & streamline the company's entire IT operation and strategically implementing the cutting edge technology in anticipation of the rapidly evolving marketplace.

The responsibilities include:

•  Defining, developing, and managing the Security Control Department.

•  Formulating the overall security plan for the company's entire networks and assuring the plan is effectively and efficiently executed.

•  Authority control for the servers and intranet.

•  Overseeing all the data backup and recovery.

•  Identifying the most timely and efficient method to achieve goals.

•  Implementing modern systems development methods, tools and techniques to meet the needs of the business,

•  Developing an environment that stimulates innovation.

•  Collaborating with the consulting firms and vendors.

•  Ensuring IT Operations meets internal and external needs.

•  Leading and managing the IT resources, which involves in definition and assessment of critical goals, recruiting, skill assessment, career development and performance management.

•  Delivering the training and coaching to all the staff regarding the security awareness and solutions.

 

Qualifications :

•  The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and seasoned IT professional with at least Bachelor Degree of computer science , who has 10 to 15 years of hands on experience, among which 5 years in the security management.

•  He/ she shall have in-depth knowledge of operation system, such as Unix, Linix and Win2000. Insight of the methodologies and technologies of the network security management is must.

•  The finalist must have a proven track record in managing a sophisticated network/ website.

•  The CSO/ CTO must have the initiative and drive to function effectively with little supervision.

•  He/she must have the stature and presence to quickly earn the respect and confidence of the senior management team, his/her subordinates and colleagues within the firm.

•  Outstanding communication and presentation skills are required.

•  The successful candidate must be first and foremost an IT strategist with effective communication and presentation skills who can articulate complicated technology into understandable terms.

•  As the business is fast changing, the CSO/CTO must be able to work under pressure in a very fluid, ambiguous and dynamic environment.

•  Additionally, the ideal candidate must have excellent spoken and written Mandarin as well as English.
