Reporting Relationship : The Regional Sales Manager (RSM), Southern China will report to a National Sales Director based in Shanghai .
Responsibilities :
The candidate will be responsible for managing sales activities within their region, including operational & development direction, budgets, and execution of sales and promotional programs.
Achieving sales and distribution objectives (direct & indirect)
Recruiting, developing and training key sales staff
Developing a regional distribution network, including selection of distributors
Increasing depth & breadth of product distribution
Driving and imbedding the Corporates' approach to managing Beauty Advisors and distribution partners
Setting objectives, developing programmes, and implementing distribution & merchandising performance standards.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate will be an ethnic Chinese with 4 to 5 years field sales management experience with multinational firms in FMCG, preferably with a retail and distributor focus, and at least 2 years' experience in Southern China .
The incumbent must have in depth knowledge of the sales function, and have a proven track record in Southern China . Strong direct and indirect distributor management capabilities are also essential including key accounts management.
The incumbent should have strong interpersonal and leadership skills; be results oriented as well as a team player; have a strong consumer and customer focus; and be open, approachable and capable of identifying and developing staff.
This person should be in his/her late 20s or early 30s , and be a university / college graduate. Candidates must have good written and spoken English and Mandarin language skills. The candidate should also have an appearance, style and sensitivity suited to a fashion oriented business.
