Reporting Relationship : The CEO will report directly to the board of directors

Responsibilities:

•  The CEO will be responsible for architecting and implementing company's short term and long term strategies; setting up company policies and procedures; improving operational efficiency and cost control.

•  In addition, he will set business plans and growth targets for the firm, specifically focusing on sales and marketing efforts and distribution channel development.

•  It is important that the CEO will help the company to properly position its products and provide guidance for the pricing, as well as sales & marketing.

•  He should be a luminary within the high tech industry who has solid business experience and could lend instant credibility to the company.

•  Lacking directly comparable experience, the successful candidate should have a proven track record of running an established organization or a business unit in a multinational company with comparable headcount

•  The person will be a superb profit center manager, a team leader and builder.

•  He will not be a technical expert, but an enterprising businessman who possess technical understanding, with acumen and an international outlook.

•  He will be a perceptive executive who can delineate the market segments, and allocate resources in accordance with market size, anticipated investments and envisaged returns.

•  He will be a hands-on executive who is able to operate effectively within the working environment of a Chinese enterprise and, concomitantly, interfacing with overseas contacts as well as government officials.

•  He will have the maturity to hold together a young and ambitious team of professional managers and talented engineers.

Qualifications :

•  The ideal candidate will be a seasoned executive with a minimum of three years management experience in a multinational company.

•  He must have a proven record of achievements in business, encompassing the wide spectrum of roles from personnel management to sales and marketing, to partnership management.

•  He must be thoroughly qualified and knowledgeable both operationally and commercially with extensive senior level contacts in the relevant industries and in the market place.

•  It is likely that candidate will have an MBA and he may have an engineering undergraduate degree.

•  Overseas experience is a plus. High integrity, intelligence and enthusiasm are also prerequisites for the position.
