Location : The position will
be based in Shanghai

Education : A Bachelor degree
or above. Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
Responsibilities:
To supervise the local junior Operations staff
To report all exception / incidents relating to the Shanghai
Branch Operations to his/her superior.
Budget Planning and control.
To work together with / back up the junior Operations Staff
in the day to day Operations work
To work in conjunction with the Branch Administration in
other administrative roles other than system administration and
front office activities.
Collect trade tickets / blotter issued by Shanghai Front
Office together with all support document.
Ensuring all transactions concluded in Shanghai Branch with
Corporate customers is in compliance with all local regulatory requirements.
Trade capture via the appropriate systems¡¯ terminals in
Shanghai Office.
Fax / Send all trade details of all trades concluded in
Shanghai to Hong Kong Operations.
Control the sequential number of trade tickets / blotters
ensuring none will be missed un-processed.
Account opening procedure for Shanghai customers, collecting
and faxing all relative documents to the Static Data unit responsible
for the account opening.
Safe keep all original documents relating to customer records
/ accounts and transactions
Liaison between Shanghai Operations and other support areas
on all matters relating to the day to day processing of the trades
concluded in Shanghai Branch.
Act as the prime contact in corporate customers on all matters
relating to the day to day processing of the trades concluded in
Shanghai Branch including verbally confirming details and settlement
instruction of trades, obtaining Standard Settlements Instructions,
written instructions in original form for third party payments and
investigations/queries.
Maintenance of trade volume statistics.
Assist in preparation of periodic Audit confirmation letters
when requested.
Assist in locating any information needed during the periodic
audit and examination undertaken by both internal and external control
and regulatory units.

Not authorised in any trading activities
No access to payment and confirmation generation systems
No privilege in static data maintenance
Not an authorised signer
Able to capture trades but not to validate
