Location : The position will be based in Shanghai.

Reporting Relationship : Vice President

Education : A Bachelor degree or above. Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin.


Responsibilities:

• This is a Corporate role responsible for the overall effectiveness of the Compensation and Benefits function and its policies and practices .

• In coordination with Corporate C&B and Regional Leadership, enhance the overall design, implementation, communication and administration of the organization's total compensation and benefits programs.

• Evaluates the effectiveness of current compensation programs and make recommendations for changes to ensure competitiveness in Asia¡¯s markets.

•Working with Business Unit HR and C&B professionals, ensure compensation and benefit programs support the organization's strategic objectives to include: salary management, incentive compensation, equity compensation, executive compensation, sales compensation, health and welfare plans, and retirement and/or capital accumulation plans.

• Oversees analysis of compensation survey responses and ensures that compensation remains competitive so as to attract, retain and motivate employees.

• Leads a matrixed team of compensation professionals residing within the business units resident in Asia Pacific.
• Educates management on C&B trends in the region.

• Provides consulting services directly to Business Units.

• Assignments are received in objective oriented terms.

• Provides guidance to the HR team in the region based on organizational goals and company policy.

• Manage outsourcing projects and vendor contracts.

• Participate in global compensation steering and HRIS committees.


Qualifications :

• Proven experience in Compensation and Benefits structures, practices, law and policies used within and affecting large, multi-national organizations operating in Asia Pacific.

• Excellent communication skills. Able to communicate, verbally and in writing, with employees from various backgrounds and levels within the organization.

• Able to multi-task. Proven ability to identify, prioritize and act on critical issues.

• Fully literate in all basic MS Office programs. PeopleSoft experience is a plus.

• Ability to influence senior executives.

• Extensive project management experiences.

• Experience in a Shared Services environment a plus
• Prior acquisition experiences a plus.
• Bachelor's degree with professional certifications. MBA or Masters a plus

• Ten to fifteen years of progressive experience in compensation and benefits in a Multi-national.
