Location : The position will be
based in Shanghai.
Reporting Relationship : VP
Education :A Bachelor degree or
above. Mandatory fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
Responsibilities:
The IT Director¡¯s responsibilities will include,
but not be limited to the following:
Supporting Chinese Commercial Operations and facilitate
the implementation of a Regional Call Center via implementation
of SAP ERP, SAP¡¯s Customer Interaction Center, integration with
non-SAP ERP and/or integration with the regional CTI solution as
appropriate.
Coordinating the rollout of Win2K Active Directory, Exchange
2K and a Standard Desktop across the region.
Consolidating email and network admin support where feasible.
Establishing a ¡°Follow the Sun¡± China Help Desk for desktop,
email and network support to reduce cost and improve customer service
He/she will coordinate with the Regional Technical staff
on setting up, maintaining, upgrading and enhancing the company¡¯s
IT infrastructure.
Qualifications :
In his/her early to mid 30s, the ideal candidate
will be a PRC national or returnee with a university degree in computer
related major.
He/she should have 5 - 10 years¡¯ IT strategy development
experience with a minimum of 2 years with a multinational company.
He/she will have the initiative and be able to function
independently and effectively with minimal supervision.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on individual who
will lead by example in the technology implementation.
Deep knowledge about SAP system, which includes functions,
development and change management.
Good understanding of business processes in the area of
sales, distribution, purchasing, manufacturing, and finance.
Strong set of management skills, with experience on selecting
and managing outsourcing vendors.
Strong personality, and be able to push back where required,
especially in vendor negotiations strong people, communications
and negotiating skills.
Good interpersonal as well as supervisory and management
skills.
Good command of written and spoken English, a self-starter
and a continuous learner.
