Location : The position will be
based in Shanghai.

Director
Education : A Bachelor degree
or above. Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Manager¡¯s duties and areas of responsibilities
include but not limited:
To lead and supervise a team of brand management and brand
marketing support staff in order to ensure on target high-quality
and cost effective marketing programs planning and execution;
To spearhead the business/marketing/functional plans, based
on thorough analysis of market, environmental, competitive and consumer
trends as well as the desired business objectives of the company;
Once approved by the Management, to ensure high quality
execution of the marketing/business plans in a coordinated fashion
with Sales, Operations, F&A, advertising agency and research
agency and within agreed objective and budget;
To identify new product opportunities (including packaging
innovation) coordinate and lead the development in cooperation with
the regional NPD committee and local QC team to ensure on-time development
and product launch within agreed commercial targets and budget;
To develop and implement effective consumer, trade and medical
communication plans in order to uplift the corporate and brand image
to be international, upscale, highly nutritional, consumer friendly
and caring;
To maximize the cost-effectiveness out of the agreed A&P
budgets and control the spending budgets in order to deliver sales
and brand result objectives and also the market share targets;
To ensure superior quality advertising and consumer communication
materials, consistent with the corporate brand and individual brand
positioning and brand personalities;
To review sales forecast, proposed by the sales force and
brand management to ensure a realistic and feasible plan and maximize
the market and channel sales potential;
To identify research needs and carry out research programs
in order to gain consumer insights for enhanced marketing decisions;
To be an active team member in driving the organization
forward on a cross-functional basis;
To ensure all marketing activities consistently comply with
WHO code and local regulatory requirement;
To Maintain a close liaison with Sales management to ensure
the sales strategies, sales distribution and coverage plan and trade
marketing plans are in line with and supporting the overall brand
marketing vision/objectives;
To maintain a close liaison with Operations to ensure that
production plans are in line with and supporting the achievement
of high and consistent product quality standard, correct and new
product marketing objectives and mission;
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate, at least a bachelor degree
holder, should have at least 10 years of solid work experience in
length with a minimum of 4 years of marketing management role in
the similar environment with focuses on long term brand building.
The successful candidate should be open, mature and self-driven,
being able to work with all levels of people including those from
HK, Taiwan, Singapore, New Zealand, etc. with different culture
background.
He or she should be a confident leader with empathy and
motivation, willing to develop and guide his or her staff and delegate
tasks to them.
Either local Chinese national can fill the position or expatriates
who have at least 3 years work experience in the China market.
